Mercedes Sprinter VIP Conversion for Official and Institutional Use | Completed Real Project

A completed Silver VIP Design Mercedes Sprinter VIP conversion featuring original Mercedes-Benz S500 executive seats, Samsung TV, Apple TV, iPad control, MUSWAY amplification, Hertz speakers, Indel B TB18 refrigeration and a bespoke luxury passenger cabin.

Mercedes Sprinter VIP Conversion for Official and Institutional Use

VIP vehicles developed for official, institutional and executive use require more than a visually luxurious interior.

Passenger comfort, seating layout, working areas, multimedia, control technology, lighting and technical infrastructure must work together within the same passenger environment.

This Mercedes Sprinter VIP conversion completed by Silver VIP Design is a real example of that approach.

For privacy, the organisation for which the vehicle was completed is not identified on this page.

All photographs published with this project show the actual completed Mercedes Sprinter passenger cabin rather than CGI renders or concept visuals.

For more information about our wider approach to the platform, see Mercedes Sprinter VIP Conversion UK – Decisions Before Conversion Starts.

Original Mercedes-Benz S500 Executive Seats

One of the central elements of this project is the integration of original Mercedes-Benz S500 executive seats into the Sprinter passenger cabin.

In an executive vehicle, seat planning involves more than choosing the seats themselves.

Legroom, passenger movement, access to tables and side consoles, viewing position and the relationship between the seating and other cabin functions must all be considered.

The generous interior dimensions of the Mercedes Sprinter allowed these elements to be developed as part of one complete passenger layout.

Brown leather upholstery, the dark ceiling and black flooring create the distinctive executive character visible throughout the finished vehicle.

Original Mercedes-Benz S500 Pillar Lighting

The interior also incorporates original Mercedes-Benz S500 pillar lighting .

These components were integrated with the bespoke side structures and the wider lighting concept of the passenger compartment.

Together with the illuminated ceiling elements and ambient lighting, they help maintain a visual connection with Mercedes-Benz interior design while forming part of a substantially redesigned VIP cabin.

Starlight Ceiling and Linear Lighting

One of the most distinctive features visible in the completed project is the starlight ceiling .

Individual light points are integrated into the dark ceiling surface and combined with long linear lighting elements running through the passenger compartment.

The two lighting systems provide different visual effects while forming part of the same ceiling architecture.

In a Mercedes Sprinter conversion, ceiling design must also consider available headroom and the space required for technical components.

Samsung TV and Apple TV Multimedia System

A large Samsung TV was integrated into the front section of the rear passenger cabin.

The multimedia installation also incorporates Apple TV , providing a dedicated entertainment platform within the vehicle.

The position of the display was considered in relation to the seating layout so that the screen can be viewed from different passenger positions.

The display, surrounding trim and audio installation were treated as parts of the interior architecture rather than independent accessories added after the conversion.

Our approach to integrating equipment into a bespoke Sprinter cabin can also be explored in Mercedes Sprinter VIP Conversion UK – Build Documentation & Seat Anchorage.

Apple iPad-Based Cabin Control

An Apple iPad-based control system is integrated into the passenger compartment.

The interface is positioned where it can be accessed conveniently from the executive seating area.

Selected functions incorporated into the project can be brought together within a central digital interface, reducing the need for multiple separate physical control locations.

The real project photographs clearly show how the control screen has been integrated into the side console of the finished Sprinter.

MUSWAY Amplifier and Hertz Automotive Speakers

The vehicle's audio installation combines a MUSWAY amplifier with Hertz automotive speakers .

Speaker locations were planned together with the custom-built sections surrounding the multimedia area and passenger cabin.

For a project containing multiple electrical and multimedia systems, audio installation also needs to be considered alongside wiring routes, component locations and future service access.

Indel B TB18 Refrigerator

Passenger convenience is further supported by an Indel B TB18 refrigerator integrated into the vehicle.

Its position was planned in relation to accessibility, available interior space and the vehicle's electrical infrastructure.

Integrating refrigeration during the design process allows the unit to become part of the finished cabin architecture rather than appearing as an independent accessory.

Individual Fold-Out Executive Tables

The completed interior includes fold-out tables positioned for individual passenger use.

When required, they provide a practical surface for documents, tablets or other personal items.

When not in use, they can be folded away to help preserve movement space within the cabin.

This is particularly relevant to vehicles intended for executive, institutional and long-distance use, where the passenger compartment may function as both a travel and working environment.

Bespoke Side Consoles and Passenger Functions

The Mercedes Sprinter's interior dimensions allow the side areas of the cabin to be used for more than decorative trim.

In this project, cup holders, control points, storage areas and passenger functions were incorporated into bespoke side-console structures.

The objective was to bring multiple functions together within a consistent interior design rather than distributing unrelated components around the passenger cabin.

Premium Italian Leather Interior

Premium Italian leather was used throughout the passenger environment.

The brown leather tone continues across the seating, armrests and other upholstered surfaces.

Combined with the black ceiling, dark flooring, metallic details and warm lighting, this creates the distinctive visual character of the completed vehicle.

Technical Integration Behind the VIP Interior

A Mercedes Sprinter containing electrically operated executive seating, a Samsung display, Apple TV, iPad control, amplification, speakers, refrigeration and extensive lighting requires careful technical planning behind the visible interior.

Electrical routes, mounting positions, component access and the relationship between different systems should therefore be considered during the conversion process.

The base vehicle itself is equally important. Our Mercedes Sprinter VIP Conversion UK – Choosing the Base Vehicle article explains some of the considerations before a conversion begins.

A Real Completed Mercedes Sprinter VIP Project

This is a real Mercedes Sprinter VIP conversion completed by Silver VIP Design .

The same project brings together original Mercedes-Benz S500 executive seats, original S500 pillar lighting, Samsung TV, Apple TV, an Apple iPad-based control system, MUSWAY amplification, Hertz automotive speakers, an Indel B TB18 refrigerator, premium Italian leather, a starlight ceiling, linear lighting and individual fold-out tables .

The photographs published with this page show the actual completed vehicle.

For Silver VIP Design, the project demonstrates how a Mercedes Sprinter can be developed into a comprehensive VIP passenger environment for official, institutional and executive use while bringing comfort, technology and practical passenger functions together within one interior.
